Nice soap I like the soap, and I will buy it again. For the people that comment about the soap not lasting long, it is because the soap is not cured for long. To make it last longer, remove a bar of soap from the package and place it on a counter (not in the bathroom) for a week or longer. This dries or cures the soap making it last longer.
Leaves my skin and hair squeaky clean! Love this soap. I looked high and low for a reasonably priced soap that doesn’t use animal by-products or test on animals. Like other reviewers have said the lather is great. I will say the bar does not last nearly as long as my conventional soap. Based on other reviewers I tried it also as a shampoo. I have medium length hair so I wasn’t sure if it would work. It does and left my hair and scalp feeling squeaky clean. I feel a little crazy writing a review for a darn soap, but the other reviews…
Not the same old Kirk’s Natural This soap has changed. I have used it for years and even used to purchase directly from the Kirk’s Natural company. The soap in my recent order is different in appearance (more off-white), texture (rougher), doesn’t lather as well (I have untreated hard well water), and smells faintly like laundry detergent.
