Cute Quick update: we have owned this toy for nearly a year now. It has held up well, and still looks nearly new. My son has grown into the toy, and enjoys playing with it more than when he first got it. The candles come out of the menorah, and the ‘flame’ is also a separate piece so he can pretend putting in the correct number of candles, then ‘lighting’ them.
Really good quality, bright and fun! Love love love this set! The Menorah is really heavy, so that means it is made of real wood, but it also means you need to be careful if really small children might be playing with it, or older siblings might be tempted to clock a younger sibling in the head. The candles and flames are REALLY cute, and so far have been pretty chew proof between our two toddlers. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of quality, but I was really pleasantly surprised. I could see this set selling for twice as…
Sturdy…well crafted…good for little ones and if you have pets Beautifully made, high quality construction, colorful! My son loves this set and we will be using it for many Hanukkahs to come. The menorah itself makes a wonderful table-top display and is safer too. We have pets, so we have to be very careful when lighting real candles on our menorah–my cats are attracted to flames. So they are put in a separate room when we light our candles. This wonderful wood set can be used all the time, without worrying about our cats or little ones being around it.
