Especially nice for canning Keeps fingers cool and protected when taking jars from the canner. Haven’t tried it for other things yet. It grips nicely; no slippage.
Failed to work. I gave this product as a gift to my elderly parents. By the time I figured out that they didn’t like or use it, it was too late to return. I wished I had tried it first. When I finally did visit and found it buried in a drawer at their house, I got it out and tried to use it. I found it cumbersome and awkward. It actually made opening a pickle jar more difficult. Perhaps this is made for larger hands.
