Excellent price for a competent walker Excellent price for a competent walker. I bought it as a second walker. I now use my old one outside with over-sized wheels. The old one was “given” to me during a stay at a rehab clinic after my knee operation. Actually, they charged Medicare about $98 for it. This one ordered from Amazon was $38 plus tax, and is exactly the same as the one Medicare paid $98 for.
Great Walker This walker is lightweight and easy to fold. It is the same type the hospital had for use after hip replacement surgery. Strangely they did not offer it for sale there (just a heavier steel one that would not even fold properly). I was happy to find this walker here and it was shipped quickly by Big Apple Supplies. The large 5″ wheels are easy to roll and hitting a small bump or sidewalk seam does not cause the walker to tip forward as much as one with smaller wheels would. The only drawback is…
So far so good. My husband needs 4 walkers So far so good. My husband needs 4 walkers..outdoor, main floor, up stairs and basement if he isn’t going to have to fold and carry them on his stair lift or drag in whatever her goes through while out side. He has declared this to be sturdy and maneuverable so I ordered 2 more. The price is great for one that is a handy fit. He is hard on stuff so I am thinking about ordering 2 spares.
