Didnât realize they were made from PVC Iâm disappointed to see that these toys are made of PVC. I was too quick to order them without reading all the details. Even if the PVC is free of phthalates, it is still likely to contain harmful chemicals which leach out when a baby chews on the toy (eg, organotins). Itâs unfortunate that the US doesnât adequately regulate infant toys. Itâs additionally unfortunate that parents cannot trust that well-known toy companies will use safe materials. I expected better from Infantino.
Better than expected I bought this set of toys and blocks because I wanted to get some blocks for my son (now 6 months old), and this was the best deal. I also liked that the set included a bunch of balls too. Well – he immediately went nuts for the little buddies! In fact, the monkey is one of his 3 favorite toys right now.
