Faulty LED Fixture after only 3 months of Usage – Reseller is a Shyster I had high hopes for these nice looking Recessed Lighting LED Fixtures. They were very easy to install, and the quality of the light output was awesome. Considerably better than the florescent lighting that I was using. One of the fixtures started to work only intermittently, and then not at all after only 3 months of typical usage. Far short of the 25 years that they are claimed to work. The bigger disappointment is that trying to get an RMA through Amazon or the Reseller (ChuangQun-US)…

Updated installation tips for older style curved pot light housings that eliminates visible screws! (see last paragraph) I have recessed incandescent “pot lights” in my kitchen and living room. I had my kitchen remodeled in 2009 by a contractor who did not properly insulate the existing pot lights which are below a cold air space. In winter, I had ice forming and water dripping from the white bezels along with massive amounts of cold air coming into my kitchen. Easy can light conversion Use these wherever you want soft white color temperature (3000K) LEDs to replace incandescent or CFL equipped can lights. They take a minute to install within the existing fixture and their spring clips will pull them tight against the ceiling. I suggest this type of conversion for living spaces, but use an outdoor light with a bluer cast in workshops, craft rooms or wherever else you’re doing detail work.
