Just what I needed… This is the perfect bottom for my cane for me. It is flat and I don’t have to worry about looking for something to lean it against when I need both of my hands. It took me a little while to get use to walking with it as you use it differently than a regular bottom.
Great Help I love it. Since I can leave my cane standing beside my chair, I don’t have to worry about someone tripping over it and I use it more often. I also do not irritate family members with the constant tap, tap, tap sound of my cane. I feel more stable with the wide base and it has a softer feel as it hits the floor. One caution! Measure the width of your cane before you order. Mine was 7/8 inch wide and the cane tip didn’t fit on the cane I usually use so I did find an old cane that was the…
Very useful and stable. It isn’t just that the cane feels more stable and grounded with a four-point contact, it also helps to keep it upright when not in use and prevents you from constantly having to bend over to retrieve a fallen cane. Using it might require a slight adjustment to your cane height since it does raise the cane almost two inches off the ground from where it was when using the plain rubber tip.
