Excellent Cane I have no idea what that other reviewer is talking about. Assembly? Not with the one I bought in January. Yes, one does need to set the height for best fit but that is just a matter of pushing in the little spring button and then tightening down the ring where the top and bottom halves come together. As for the foot, mine was already on there nice and tight. Yes the directions do say that an Allen wrench is needed to change the position of the foot but since it’s already installed why…
Stands on it own. My mil uses this can and so far it seems to work fine… even if she’s carrying the cane rather than using it for some support. It does stand on it’s own and doesn’t feel wobbly at all. My Aunt has the hurry-cane that folds that there is a definite difference. It’s probably because her cane is collapsible and this one is not. So can’t really do a nice comparison. Overall since my mil is happy with the cane will give it 5 stars.
Disappointed Maybe it’s just me but I find it kinda of awkward to use. It’s supposed to give a more natural walking gait but I don’t find that to be the case. It’s supposed to stand on its own, it does as long as the floor is completely clear n level. I think it would be great if the base was just an inch or two wider.
