Very sturdy and provides good support I bought this for my father. He is 84 years old and fairly active with the exception of an arthritic hip. I am an RN and work in geriatrics; therefore, I am always thinking of safety and fall prevention. Great! Highly recommended. Heavy for some. Perfect for me and VERY stable. I have been looking for a heavier cane and found it. I am about 6′ and weigh about 175lbs. This is not for a weak person or little fragile old woman as it is my heaviest cane. Most advertise as lightweight. No foot entanglement with this. It is used indoors fine and easy to walk with. I have a chronic mobility condition and this is great. It just doesn’t have a light so I added a bike light, less expensive than if it is called a cane light. I always go up and…

Probably Some Better Choices Out There… The grip and handle are nice. The cane itself is a little bit wobbly in use, maybe because I have to fully extend it for my height.What I can’t stand are the two logos imprinted on the shaft, hopefully I will find some way to wipe/rub them off.
