Dangerous to use Dangerous to use, broke after less than 2 years of moderate use. I am 160lbs and this is rated 300lbs. After about 6 months I noticed it became more wobbly. I tightened screw, there were no cracks and continued to use. Then tiny bulge appeared near handle. Now I regret I did not claim warranty that time. After few more months cracks eventually appeared and cane broke. Hugo Mobility says it is no longer covered under warranty and even refused to sell replacement handle. Base looks solid, just…
As usual Amazon came though with accurate and speedy delivery … As usual Amazon came though with accurate and speedy delivery. Problem is no one checked for quality-control. This cane was selected for the four leg stability it offered versus the one point canes. The cane was received with the four pads welded so that they were pointed in every which way direction causing a wobbly and dangerous support.
Superior cane, tacky undesired branding on cane. This is my second time buying, first one is 2 years old and battered with tattered padding on handhold. Gives superior support for walking. Down rated to “so so” because the current version is boldly branded on the sides. I would not have repurchased If I had known of the change.
