Perfect for chunky babies or if you want your baby to be comfortable My 10 month old son is chunky, although according to his weight/height, he is just about average (about 50 percentile). Roomy torso for chunky babies or clothdiapering. Gap between the legs. Great set! The union suits in size 9-12 months fit well on my 20-pound 30-inch tall one year old. They are not too long in the legs like some other clothes this size. They are roomy in the torso, so would fit well on chunky babies or cloth diapered babies. They fit well over my son’s fluffy cloth diapers and the little opening in the front has the cloth diaper peeking through. Cute, but if you don’t want diaper peeking out you may need to layer something underneath.
