I think this will be a great trike for my son when he starts riding on … I think this will be a great trike for my son when he starts riding on his own. The seat is adjustable, which was a big reason for this purchase. However, when the seat is pushed all the way forward, if he just wants to rest his feet on the foot rest he’s pretty scrunched up. Too short of a distance his legs the foot rest. He likes to try to peddle, so we have to keep the seat all the way up for now. I would not recommend it, because it’s mostly made out of plastic and it looks like it’s not going to last. The front wheel was out of round (out of shape, not perfectly round). We bought it as a present, so we felt bad to take it away (to return it) from the kid after she saw it. I wanted to notify the seller, but I couldn’t find a way to contact him.
