Nice meter for the money The blood pressure cuff is very easy to use and seems to be very accurate. Be sure to read the instructions — initially I put it on like you would a watch, with the screen to the top of my hand. The results were very high. Then I read that the screen needs to be to the palm side of my hand and it needs to be held at heart level. The results were much better! The readings are consistent and I love the portability of the meter.
Super Easy to Use and Carry We have had a large BP monitor that works around the upper arm; however, my wife, a stroke survivor, finds the pressure on her arm to be painful. Looking for an alternative, we decided to give the Hong S wrist monitor a try and we couldn’t be more pleased. My wife can tolerate it much easier, and I like it as well. It is easy to operate and convenient to carry from place to place.
Accurate Inexpensive, appears well made, works well, and when I had my doctor’s appt today, testing it immediately after the arm cuff check, same left arm, it was only a point off on both numbers – so I’d say that’s about as accurate as you can get. Perfect purchase if you want to make lifestyle changes to bring your blood pressure down, and want to monitor the effects.
