Q: Why your Hi-Fortune manual wheelchairs are more expensive than other regular aluminum wheelchair?
A: We are committed to making the lightest manual wheelchairs. So we use magnesium alloy material as the frame of wheelchairs. It’s more difficult than ordinary aluminum wheelchair in the manufacturing process. We are also the first seller of magnesium wheelchairs on Amazon.
Q: Why chose the magnesium alloy instead of regular aluminum alloy .Any advantages of the magnesium alloy?
A: Magnesium is the lightest structural metal currently available in the world. Its approximately 33% lighter than aluminum, 50% lighter than titanium, and 75% lighter than steel. It has higher strength, less deformation, good damping performance and long service life. It’s environmental friendly, pollution-free and completely recyclable.
Description
The Hi-Fortune Magnesium Manual Wheelchair is easy to maintain and is extremely lightweight. At under 22lbs, it can be easily lifted and great for use when travelling as it folds up small enough to fit in most vehicles. Drive wheels also feature a quick release, making travel and storage easier. Assistants also benefit from dual integrated hand brakes for consistent and reliable control of the chair operator. Swing-away leg rests allows the operator to quickly transfer to and from a seated position. The included seatbelt can be used for less stable operators who may be at a fall risk.

The light weight and Superior quality. I read the first review and he only gave it two stars but I give it five stars. It is very light weight 21 pounds and very well-made. He stated that it was hard to maneuver in the house, well I have a regular wheelchair and itâs very hard to maneuver in any house and I have a big house. That is not the wheelchairs fault. This chair has so many good features and made well so it is well worth the money. I like the hand brakes on the handlebars and the adjustable armrests. All good…
Chair is not caregiver friendly I used it to transport my wife from the car into buildings and into other homes. It works fine on smooth flat surfaces. Does not do well on carpet since the rubber wheels are too wide for easy movement. The anti tipping rods are great for not tipping backwards on inclined surfaces, but are not flexible when navigating a raised home or building threshold. One cannot lean the chair backwards tipping the front wheels over a raised threshold. The rubber wheels must need more air in them. They are…
Construction and weight Very well made and the 21 pound weight is great. We were traveling with the chair in the provided bag and the zipper failed from handling. The handle “button” release for clapping push handle bars broke and the screw plastic connection the first time I needed collapse the unit. This was a great emergency purchase with my wife not being able to walk just before a long trip overseas. I would buy this chair again. I will fit the broken plastic connector with epoxy glue and the bag with…
