They hold tight! I purchased a longer one and one of these previously and purchased 2 more of the 12″ ones. These hold tight and I feel are safe. I am not going to do pullups on them, but are in the shower to make me and my husband steadier and when dropping something and when getting in and out of shower. They are very difficult to put on as the suction power is great and to push the lever down takes everything I have. Red color shows not installed properly and green is they are tight. I do not want…

GREAT PRODUCT! Just what i needed. I moved from a home into an apartment about a month ago and the tub/shower doesn’t have any “grab bars” in it. I mostly like to take baths and trying to get out of the tub is a feat unto itself. So when I saw this with all it’s features, including being germ resistant for the life of the product, I was sold. Best one yet! I have purchased grab bars for the shower before. I ordinarily replace them every year or two ~ no matter how much you clean them, mold does form and the grip does weaken. this one has the strongest grip yet and I love the buttons which tell you when to refasten. Nothing is going to support the weight of a grown adult like a grab bar that’s been secured/screwed into a wall stud, but this isn’t a bad option.
