It’s the family favorite HI HO! CHERRY-O board game! Preschoolers can have so much fun picking fruit to fill their baskets, they don’t even realize they’re practicing math skills, such as counting, addition and subtraction. Players choose from two different play options and take turns picking pretend cherries, blueberries, apples and oranges from their tree. If the spinner lands on a bird or a dog players will have to return cherries to their tree. Landing on a spilled bucket means they have to start the game over! Think of the Hi Ho! Cherry-O board game when it comes to a fruity fun way for kids to practice math skills! Hasbro Gaming and all related terms are trademarks of Hasbro.Round and round she goes. Hi Ho! Cherry-O is the counting game in which players race to be the first to have 10 cherries in their basket. A spin of the arrow determines your fate. It will instruct you to pick one, two, three, or four cherries from your tree and put ’em in your basket. That is, of course, if you don’t land on the bird or the dog, requiring you to take two cherries from your basket and return them to the tree. And try not to land on the spilled bucket or–you guessed it–spill the contents of your basket or you start over. –Alison Golder
You know itâs good because I hate it so much. If I have to play this game one more time Iâm going to commit myself to a mental ward. Thatâs how I know itâs a good game. My kids want to play it over and over and over. Itâs a great first board game for kiddos and my 2 year old can play. It can also be monotonous and repetitive for those over the age of 30. Purchase at your own risk.
Yes ! Loved this game 🙂 We play it with our 3 yr old granddaughter. A few tips:-have a sandwich baggy ready to hold the fruits when the game is over. No pouch is provided for storage.-lift the game board out of the box, and firmly tape the corners. This will make the board a lot more sturdy. The game is easy to understand, easy to play, and granddaughter did beat us .Our G.d is very into “small” things, she enjoyed placing the fruits on the trees as much as the actual game…
Lots of small parts Great game and super easy for my 3 year old to understand, but SO. MANY. SMALL. PIECES. I guess I should have thought of that first. Within days the minuscule cherries were turning up in every nook and cranny of the house. They went missing quickly and now we no longer have a full game. Would recommend being very strict with putting this away immediately and out of reach.
