Slammo is an action packed 2-on-2 game that is similar to volleyball, but with a smaller ball and a circular net. The rules are similar to volleyball where each team has 3 hits to spike the ball into the ankle high circular net. Teams volley back and forth until a team is unable to return the ball to the net. The first team to 21 points win. We engineered an improved design over the competition that provides 100% net coverage and eliminates the hated ‘pocket shot’. The Slammo Set includes two competition size 9cm balls and also one 12cm training ball for beginners or younger players. The game can be quickly assembled and it fits neatly into the included backpack style carrying case. The game is a great workout and much easier to setup than full size volleyball. Recommended for ages 12+.
Slammo vs. Spikeball Alright this might get lengthy because I am going to try to compare it to the spikeball set but here it goes. This set has been great! the pvc on the outside is very sturdy and the net is very strong and has shown no signs of stretching it comes with a larger ball which has been very very helpful when teaching new friends. The carry bag that comes with the set is also of very high quality and is very nice when moving the set. There are some differences between this and a spikeball set. On the…
Great game. Be careful of summer heat! Will not endure. – Amazing Service Don’t get me wrong. I love this game and it has become a favorite lawn-game with family and friends. However, it is susceptible to summer conditions! We packed this guy up in the car to bring to the beach and when we took it out, the plastic had melted and the frame warped into a warbly oval shape, rendering the whole thing useless. Its a shame that these things happen. We have a family reunion coming up and it would have been awesome to show our extended family this awesome game…
This thing sucks This thing is cheap, flimsy and doesn’t work as expected. Unfortunately I didn’t try it until after my 30 day window, but wish I had spent more and bought spike ball because we have used that brand at the park and it was so fun! This thing falls apart and the net has no spring to it, so the ball doesn’t rebound back to players. Do not bother.
