For one-handed people, is for most shirt/blouse buttons but not for most pants buttons For one-handed people, this works only if they have pretty good finger dexterity in their remaining hand, and even then only for some buttons. Once the button has been pulled to the button hole, the fingers have to be slipped toward the metal tip of the device to align the material of the button hole and push it over the button. I ha e recommend a button hook My husband’s arthritis keeps him from closing his own buttons, For over a year, I ha e recommend a button hook, he had no interest. Finally I just ordered it for him. He is amazed by this wonderful and simple tool. He can button his own shirt again !
A really good purchase This gizmo is fantastic! I bought primarily because hubs was having trouble with the gauntlet buttons and the cuff buttons on his shirts. No more. It also works great on shirt front buttons.
