If you have a pet that sheds then you need a Gonzo! Our cats love to lay on rugs, laps and bedspreads but they shed like fiends. Previously we relied upon tape rollers to remove unwanted fur from these various surfaces but replacing a roller every week was expensive. Enter Gonzo, a rubberized sponge that picks up loose fur and is easily cleaned with soap and water when dirty. Not too bad! I would’ve given 5 stars, but this thing isn’t magic. It is starting to crumble and break a little too. It does work pretty well, though. Honestly, I do think this works better than anything I have tried for couches and bedspreads. It’s also good for large amounts of hairs (especially furniture). It’s not the best thing for clothes (I would use the tape rollers for clothes). The tape rollers just don’t work too well for couches or large hair clean ups. So, this sponge is better for that. Used to be good These used to be good. However, the last couple that I have purchased do not last, don’t pick up hair like they used to, and they crumble and fall apart, leaving the couch or other item messier when you’re done, rather than better. I’m not sure what they’ve done to the product, but obviously the quality is not at all what it used to be.
