Fun way to explore nature with kids! I used this with my kids play class at the park. Ages 18 months- 8 yrs old all engaged. The older kids independently read the cards and collected their items, the younger kids got assistance from their parents. The descriptions on each card have a cute and relevant drawing to go along with it making it easy to understand what to look for.
Really fun and versatile for the kids! This was a great game, and I could see it working both indoors and outdoors, if you can be creative! I did an outdoor game with a group of kids, in conjunction with a camera … I divided the group into three teams and set a timer on their tablets. They each had 10 cards and had to return after 20 minutes with photos for as many of the cards as they could get through. They all found a photo for each of their 10 cards! Then they showed the grown-ups, and we gave points for accuracy and…
Great for preschoolers & family! I was skeptical, but this helped my family get outside and enjoy it, my preschooler learned how to use adjectives, and to interact with and notice all of the details of things found in nature. She begs to play it! Great gift.
