Defective bags Nearly all of the bags are defective with a weak seam and tear on the top of one side. As soon as it comes out of the box and put into the trash can, there’s a hole on the side of the bag. On garbage day, it’s impossible to tie the drawstring without creating a gaping hole on the side of the bag that allows garbage to fall out. Tears easily; horrible quality Not just a bad batch. Check out all the one-star reviews where people have had the same bad experience. For me, it just wasn’t just the “Guaranteed Strong” version. The ForceFlex also tears easily. Some of the bags even come out of the box already torn. I guess the people at Glad decided to improve the bottom line by making cheaper bags and then offsetting that by saying that they’re guaranteed to be strong on the box. I feel like I’ve been scammed. Never buying Glad products…
Good trash bag for normal household trash. Period. Definitely stronger and more tear resistant than some trash bags I have used. Strong enough for most household trash. Not as sturdy as some bags for yard waste, and definitely not as strong as the 45 gallon and 55 gallon “contractor” trash bags, so expect damage if you stuff the bag with sticks or put in a bunch of big nails and then stuff the bag. But not going to split open if you throw a few staples or chicken bones in. Not going to break open if Junior drags the bag as he takes it…
