Really bad fragrance. As trivial as this sounds these trash bags are one of the worst purchases I have made in the last year. The bag itself is fine, nice and strong and the pull handles are nice. They fit my Simple Human brand tall 30 liter trash can as well as any. The alleged Febreze scent however is terrible. It has a strong chemical like smell to it, which is not even pleasant to smell when there is nothing in the trash bag, let alone once the trash starts to stink a bit. The bag’s flexibility is wonderful. And I’ve been using these trash bags for years and will continue to purchase them. Even though I stuff my trashcan full, it is rare when they rip or break. The bag’s flexibility is wonderful. And, I rarely have a trashcan that smells. The odor shield lets me throw some pretty stinky things into the garbage without giving me a fear of receiving a terrible smelly greeting when entering my house. Quality trash bag, odor shield not effective Glad makes a quality trash bag. This one holds a lot of trash, although I do not think the “odor shield” is as effective as it could be– when I put garbage (human or cat food “leftovers” in the bag, it smells). The bags are strong and resist tearing even with trash that has sharp corners.
