This Kuntrus contains two parts. Part one consists of 85 pages written in the style of the Pennie Gevuras Akiva. Part two is a kuntrus going through the topic of eating before Tekias Sofer. Here we describe how although many seforim write that it is very difficult to understand the minhag to eat before tekias, in reality there is many reasons to justify this minhag. We do not attempt to decide who is right, rather we present both sides of the issue. In addition we have included “Chelek Hamara Mekomos”. This is a unique feature where we bring all of the mara mekomos in their totality. We also include many teshuvos from the Poskim on this issue. For example, it is well known that Rav Henkin was very against this minhag, but how many people actually saw his words inside, with this kuntrus you can see his position as he wrote it. Include in the list of Poskim that we bring are: Rav Henkin, Rav Isssak Ausband, Rav Shlomo Zalman Aurebach, Rav Shmuel Kamineski, Rav Moshe Sternbuch among others. This way the reader will be able to see the different sides to the issue in a concise form and can also see each side as the poskim themselves presented it.
