The Get a Grip game is Hasbro’s twist on the “no thumbs challenge” in which players compete head-to-head in challenges without using their thumbs! First, players wrap their thumbs (or for greater challenges, tuck in additional fingers) in the included hand bands so that they can’t use them. Then a player picks a card that will tell them to Draw it, Sculpt it, or Do it…all without the use of these important body parts. Earn cards by completing challenges. Five Stars Super fun game. Bought this for my 10 year old daughter, but the adults had more fun!!! Highly recommend
An interesting game sure to give people frustration, a challenge along with lots of laughs. Who would have thought a game as simple as “not using your thumbs” would have been created?! However it does create a LOT of laughs and fun when you realize how much you use your thumb without realizing it! It’s a fun game that is sure to be interesting for first-timers. I give it a 4/5 because I think this game would lose its appeal after a while, either by getting frustrated, bored or possibly even improving on not using your thumbs! Fun game for all ages! We played this game on Thanksgiving with a variety of ages from 11 – 52 and had a blast! It kind of reminded us with Cranium as far as the challenages go with the addition of being thumb-less! I read negative reviews as far as a missing timer?? First, each challenge has its own time limit so the traditional “hour glass” timer wouldn’t work, and, who doesn’t have and use the timers on their phones???I’m glad we took a chance on this game!
