Don’t buy the imitation brand. The problem with the imitation chargers, is that they don’t stop charging the battery. They end up having a trickle effect on the battery. In some cases, this is not such a bad thing, but from my first hand experience, it ruins both the Dyson AND aftermarket batteries. The naysayers will say, “but I just bought a 3rd party charger, and it works fine, maybe even better than the Dyson branded charger” and I’d say, you’re right, but after a few months you’ll notice that your charges…
The Real Thing! When our old dc44 charger broke into pieces I knew I didnât want to chance it on a generic power supply (the vacuum wasnât cheap to begin with, I would not be happy if a faulty charger burned it up). I was a bit nervous because of some of the reviews and feedback left. There also wasnât any reassuring photos that made me confident this was made my Dyson. I took a chance and bought one sold by Category 2 USA and fulfilled by Amazon knowing I could return it without hassle if I needed to. Rest…
Works perfectly I somehow misplaced the charger to my DC44 in the moving process and this has it up and running perfectly. I wish I had bought the docking station as well, but maybe next time. Looks just like my other genuine Dyson charger.
