It only takes one flaw to ruin a gait belt… This gait belt is fine, and it’s nice that you can disinfect it….except it’s too slippery and doesn’t hold once you put it on a patient. Constantly readjusting and if you don’t get it suffocatingly tight, it’s not going to stay in place enough to do anything if you actually have to use it. Also, if you use it on a clinical rotation, your instructor will constantly make fun of how much your gait belt “sucks.” Don’t buy this.

We bought these belts for my dad, who was … We bought these belts for my dad, who was having a lot of issues. He passed away about the time the belts arrived. We forgot all about these and then months later contacted the Seller to see if it would be possible to return them. They were so sympathetic and helpful, and they agreed to take them back notwithstanding the passage of time. Although we never were able to use them, the high quality and construction of the belts was quite apparent. Thanks, Seller.
