Works great for a non balanced parent who needs help during walking We find we use this belt more often than not for getting Mom into her wheelchair and in and out of our car. She has 3 compression fractures in her spine from recent falls so needs tender care. She now is in a 5 star rated nursing home and the therapist only have a single strap belt with no handle grips for lift or down assist, only walking balance assist. My wife’s confidence level is much improved. pros. very secure fastening. easy to find a different hold strap to assist most any move.cons. does slide up from stomach to chest.
Too bulky for daily wear while working This is a great belt if itâs used on one person or left in a specific room. If youâre in the medical field and have to carry it on you while on shift Iâd go for just a classic strap one. Itâs a little too bulky to comfortably carry for a 8/10/12 hour shift.
