Great for my HE machine, for my family, and the environment! I previously used a liquid detergent for my front loading HE machine, but developed a ‘sour’ smell to my laundry. The GE repairman said it was very important to use a powdered detergent and do regular cleaning of the machine with Afresh tablets, so a scum didn’t build up outside the drum. Cleans well, lasts a long time I am not sure what to say here – it’s detergent and it cleans clothing. I don’t think the scent holds on – you would need a booster for that, but it does a good job cleaning clothes. I have a HE front loader and I don’t think liquid soaps work nearly as well as powders (I feel the same way about dishwasher soaps). Scent lingers too long. I love that it’s cheap but the perfume they use seems to stick onto the clothes way too long. I know most people may like that but after a few hours it tends to give me a headache.
