The only thing I liked about the film is that I don’t know people … Not a fan of movies about people treating each other badly and playing mind games, especially with empty apologies. The only thing I liked about the film is that I don’t know people like that. We didn’t even get to see any art, so I doubt any of them were artists, just posers trying to believe they were being creative living some artsy lifestyle. At least 3 characters seemed severely mentally ill, and the rest, well, it was like full moon at the mental hospital.
Enjoyable The acting was good and the characters were mostly believable. The screwed up relationships they got themselves into were sometimes painful, sometimes touching, but always amusing. There were times I laughed out loud, such as the part about winning a rim job. The movie also does a good job of showing us the pretentious side of the New York art scene. It kept me entertained all the way to the end.
pass..too Jewish and by too Jewish I mean the main character is a Nerd who thinks he is a cool goy boy…Long, boring conversations with his neurotic girlfriend and few and far between shots of the adorable “sister?” really a waste of time, except HER (great little body)..
