3 Year Old Approved My 3 year old is learning soccer and loves to kick the ball. The goal post is sturdy. There are tie down stakes also provided that you can use to keep the post in place if playing in windy conditions. My reason for the 3 stars is because one reason I chose this one over others was the ability to fold up. I have found that it is not easy to fold and have broken the goal post trying to fold it. This item would get 5 stars if the folding option was easier to work.
Less sturdy than expected Smaller than I realized when I ordered it. It folds fairly easily but is not as sturdy as I had hoped. Better for practicing shooting (because of the size)than for practicing goaltending, which is what my young son really enjoys. Not bad for the price, but in hindsight I should have spent a little more for something more hardy. The age is listed as 6+. My son is almost 4 and I’m sure will grow out of this within a year.
