They are easy to pitch consistently without a curve for batting practice These work well with the Franklin pitching machine or as a standalone. They fly further than most plastic balls but are lightweight enough to not be a significant risk to people or property. They are easy to pitch consistently without a curve for batting practice. The only issue is that they are light enough that the wind will affect your pitching on gusty day. I purchased multiple bags and now spend more focused time training and hitting with my son than chasing and retrieving.
