Not as expected – Smaller Size L wasn’t as big as indicated, more like an 8-10. Had to insert a panel in back of the tunic. The felt breast plate and lower “skirt” panels are only in the front attached to white polyester tunic with velcro tabs and tied in the back at the waist. Had to add longer ribbons to fit waist. I know it is a costume but was disappointed in the quality of the fabrics and the construction.
Well worth it! I purchased this as part of a costume I was making for my 4 year old. A lot of people have complained that it didn’t fit their kids but it fit well on my “larger than most kids his age” 4 year old. I included a picture even though you cant see the whole thing to show the length and general appearance. The velcro belt that people complain about is attached to the costume and fastens in the back to hold it on. Again, no problem with the length of it. I did have to use the arm bracers for…
Nice but should make an XL size My 10 yr old is 4’11’ and 120 lb. He is usually youth XL or size 18/20. I got it anyway because of a school play. It still fits, barely, but wished they’d make it in XL size. The vest doesnt close on the back but you can extend it with an additional velcro strap.
