Seems even better than the older Quantum tablets I wasnât sure about the new âcapsulesâ, the little rectangular Quantum blocks have worked well in my machine. Looks like the change was a way to cut costs on packaging. My first thought was that this is a stealth devaluation. I liked the old purple and silver quantum max tabs. On the old packages 64 tabs weighed 37.4 oz. The new tabs give you 68 for 29.9 oz. So that means 64 new tabs should weigh 64/68 * 29.9 = 28.14 oz. The back package on the old quantum max list the detergent as 12x (I assume 12x more concentrated than some old formula benchmark?). The new ones are listed as 17x. So let’s give finish the benefit of the doubt and say the new formula…
What is that SMELL? Seem to work well â but OMG the smell! I read other reviews that mentioned this, but I got them anyway. The smell is horrible when you open the pouch. Itâs an EXTREMELY strong chemical smell. It doesnât permeate the bag, but every time you open it knocks you over. I have used in dishwasher twice â but am concerned with safety. I might contact manufacturer to ask if that is normal
