No waiting at the doc’s Office, waiting on HIM. No appts – Do it Yourself – It’s pretty Easy Sure beats paying $240 at the dr’s office if you don’t have insurance. Seemed to give accurate results, very close to what I wasexpecting. If you’re going to do it, be very careful with the sample drops. Make sure you drop more than they say, and make sure thatdeep red goes way past the line, not just pink color. Then, don’t just dry for 30 mins like they say, let it dry for 3 hours! I messed up onthese things and had to do it over…but the company was very patient and…

Great idea, questionable exicution. On the surface it’s an excellent idea. In reality it falls short.Claims four drops of blood is all that’s normally needed to get the blood to transfer from the sample window past the first line of the indicator window. Only three single use lancets are provided, first fatal flaw.After 2 failed attempts that deposited 10 drops of blood over a 10 and 20 minute period the trick on the third try was 8 drops of blood deposited within 5 minutes. Speed is the key…

A very good idea The convenience of finding out about your cholesterol without trekking to the Dr. is a good thing. Be sure to find the Instructions FIRST before messing with the needles – one push on them and they are unusable. Also REGISTER as well, so you get your results back. You have to load up the smear with enough so it can be processed. Stay well.
