Helped my son I am a nurse. I had to use this splint today for my own son who fell and broke his arm. In the ER I was told that the fracture was a clean break and the bone had not shifted at all. Because of the location of the fracture, if the bone had shifted, he would have required surgery. I think there’s a chance that putting the splint on immediately saved him from surgery. Regardless, it helped reduce his pain, so I highly recommend it This was so easy to use. Make sure to keep an ace bandages on…
I coach my 4 y/o old’s soccer team. I … I coach my 4 y/o old’s soccer team. I bought this as a splint to carry in my first aid kit when coaching as well as for general preparedness. I’m a previous EMT and used SAM splints before. This splint appears be able to be utilized the same way for substantially less cost.
well recommended I bought this splint after I broke my wrist. I decided that it was pretty important to have one on hand and avoid bone movement and extra problems. I hope I never need to use it, but it came well recommended by an EMT.
