This requires me to take the time to collapse each segment (not an easy task if you have arthritis as I do) and carry rubber bands to keep the cane from snapping back open. Love the design and then some. Absolutely perfect! This cane fit the bill and then some. It was so easy to adjust to my height and is very light weight. I am 4’9 1/2″, weigh under 100 lbs and am 63 years old. I was given a clunky but functional black cane (made for someone taller), to use until mine arrived and was so happy mine arrived early! Perfect for me! I love this cane! I was a little hesitant to buy a flowered cane. I didn’t want something flashy or tacky. And it’s not. It’s very pleasing to the eye, at least mine… just fancy enough to be attractive without calling a lot of attention to itself (it’s not loud). It’s very lightweight but sturdy enough for my purposes, to steady my gait for balance and take some weight off my bad foot or knee when I need it.
