Even the smallest scientists can see the moon up close with this focus-free telescope, built specifically for little hands and growing minds. Two large eyepieces with a comfy goggle and nose cut-out guide make it easy for little ones to use and see. And with 10x magnification and built-in diagonal mirror, the moon appears in amazing, magnified detail. My First Telescope even includes a tripod for table viewing and a guide showcasing the phases of the moon. Perfect for STEM learning.
Very upset and disappointed. Got this for my son as a part of Christmas. Tried it out tonight and you can barely see through it. There are black spots throughout. It is very out of focus, and since it’s supposed to already be “auto focused”, you don’t have the option to do so yourself. It also does not look up high enough in the sky with the tripod attached, so we have to hold it up and of course, the 4 year old just moves it out of place that way. Very upset and disappointed.
Two Stars Can’t see out it for night viewing I bought for my 6 yr. Old for Christmas.
Not good for younger kids that need help focusing/finding objects Tried to look at the moon tonight with my 3yr old son. Does not tilt enough when on a tabletop so you can’t set it up and have your child look through it – they need to find the moon themselves. Maybe good for older kids. No option to focus (I knew that going in) but objects are blurry even with the “focus free” set up. Returning for better telescope.
