How to Properly Size a Cane

Wearing your shoes, naturally stand upright. Put your arms to your side with a natural bend at the elbow. Have someone measure the distance from your wrist joint to the floor. This is the height at which to set your cane. If you don’t have someone to measure for you, convert your height to inches, divide by two and add a half-inch to this height.

Nice cane but Duro-med, they make easy peel stickers…… It’s a good cane, well built especially for the price ($12.54 on 9/25/2017) but it had 2 stickers on it which left the goo after removing them. I hesitate using goo gone or some other chemical to remove the sticky junk, tried using duct tape to pull off the residue but it didn’t work too well. I’ve seen some reviewers drop the rating down to 1 star for the stickers, it’s not that bad but did deserve a 1 star ding for the hassle.

Good buy! Very strong Kane really impressed with it. Looks great too. I’m 6’2″ and it’s the perfect size. I have arthritis in both my knees and it really helps me get around on days when my knees are really bad. Really glad I bought it. There our some stickers on it but if you slowly peel them off it easily comes off.

GOOD, BASIC CANE. This cane looks good and appears to be quite strong. The height is fine (I am 6′ 2″). The metal insert seems to be a good idea, but I have not tried to get through a metal detector at an airport or courthouse yet. The rubber end piece is non-slip.
