Don’ buy if you need it for wheelchair transfers I have MS and bought this “look alike” product to replace a sturdier one that broke after a couple of years. These take a lot of pressure to transfer to and from a wheelchair and this product bent, wobbled, and failed after just a few weeks. The light weight aluminum tubing is not tight in the plastic housing so it wobbles and ultimately bends more and more outward making the transfer more difficult. Can not be too safe Works reasonably well and adds additional security for the necessary activities. The armrests do add to the throne like experience. The legs can be kicked out a bit to steady up the frame. The double bend in the frames adds a second hand position for assisting to the standing position. Installs quickly with little fuss or bother. Delivered promptly at a reasonable price, what’s not to like! It is not quite rock solid, so if you need that look elsewhere.
