Great chair except for the seat This chair has saved my back for sure. My mother uses it to move around her house. When I take her out, this is very light to lift into the car. The only reason that I am not giving it five stars is because of the seat. My mother barely weighs 100 lbs., but I’ve had to replace the seat on both of her chairs. They tear at the front edge. Drive will not warranty the seat past 60 days. This time the seat last ten months, which is not long in my opinion. At least they do sell replacement…
Best Transport Chair Made My wife and I read basically every review available on this chair and many others before we purchased this one. My mother cannot walk and my father (and us) needed a light weight, yet strong maneuverable chair to carry my Mom to all her doctor visits (she has many!). Loading and unloading a regular wheel chair is impossible for my 87 year old father and I have a bad back at my young age of 58. This chair is the answer to our prayers and needs. Lightweight 17 pounds Lightweight 17 pounds. Easy to setup. The angled arms are a great feature; enables the user to be at a closer, comfortable distance from tabletops. Has 2 pockets on the back. We put a water bottle in one pocket. The other carries maintenance tools which comes included with purchase.Handles well and we have no problem going up/down a slightly steep sidewalk.Helpful hint: Toss in one of those wedge-type door stops into the pocket as well; it will come in really handy for those times…
