Still loving it I had been using an old school but plain folding wheelchair for my 5′ 2″, 150 lb mom, used just for outings as she hasn’t the strength to walk very far with her walker. I bought this lightweight version many months ago, and am still sending happy, grateful thoughts up to the designers when I use it. Good product; color off. I’ve had great luck with all of my many Drive rehab items. I couldn’t find a small size transport chair in stock at any local medical supply store. I removed the seatbelt. Then it needed tricking out. (See photo) A note about it being advertised as Red. Nope, no way, everyone agrees. It’s a pearlized rose PINK. Not red by any means.

I do not recommend this transport wheelchair This is the first time that I have ever bought a transport wheelchair and I have a couple of recommendations for others. After bending down all of the time to set the breaks, I have learned that handbrakes are a necessary feature. I think that they are worth the extra cost. With the brakes set, this transport chair still moves easily. That is a safety issue. I highly recommend getting a transport chair with bigger back wheels and back wheels that are bigger than the front wheels. While…
