A poorly made product that can’t be returned. I have been blind all my life and have used several kinds of canes. This is a piece of garbage. It only has one strand of elastic as opposed to two which are standard in quality canes. This results in pieces fitting Loosely together and therefore wiggling and making extra noise and vibration when trying to use the cane. Now add that there’s also no way to use the elastic wrist strap to hold the folded pieces together as is standard in any other cane I’ve ever seen and you have a real problem…
I have found a better cane for them to learn with I purchased this cane for a newly sight impaired patient. Since neither the patient or I had any experience purchasing a sight cane, this was the one I chose. After doing more research later, I have found a better cane for them to learn with, however, this cane did not last more than a month with mild, gentle, ambulation in the home and community.Cons:First thing that is on the list is that the tip of the can broke after one month.
