Adjustment pins rusting away to nothing Ordered and assembled the “bench with back”. Everything seemed great. After about a year I noticed a stain under two legs. I inspected the legs and discovered two of the clip-pins which are used to adjust the heist had nearly rusted away. I estimate another 7 months and the legs would collapse if we sat on it. The legs and frame are aluminum but the clip-pins are just chrome plated steel – NOT stainless.
Great lightweight but very sturdy bench This is my second purchase of this item I liked the first one so much. I have one in the shower (disabled and can’t stand to shower) and the other for use around the bedroom for putting away laundry, arranging stuff under the sink, etc. It’s light and sturdy and reasonably easy to move around but VERY stable. If you need a bariatric bend for bath or general purpose you can’t go wrong with this one. It was VERY easy to assemble and the directions were clear even for a regular person.
Ideal for my mother to get in and out of … Ideal for my mother to get in and out of the tub….very sturdily built and doesn’t slip around when being used. I would say that this chair gives her peace of mind knowing that she will not slip when taking a shower. Certainly well worth the price I paid for it
