This Adjustable Height Bathtub Grab Bar Safety Rail by Drive Medical was designed to fit just about any style of bathtub. The attractive white powder coated steel frame is durable and aesthetically pleasing. The grip bar adjusts from 14″ to 17″ allows you to find the perfect height for your needs. The angle of the grab bar is parallel to the shower wall. The adjustable width clamp attaches by turning the locking mechanism which tightens the rubber pads on all bath tub contact points. The rubber pads prevents scratching of the tubs surface and ensure a secure fit. The Bathtub Grab Bar Safety Rail is easy to install without needing tools. Please note this safety rail is not for use on fiberglass tubs.

Works well. My mother-in-law always complained about taking a shower in our guest bathroom because it is a tub/shower combo – not a walk-in. She had a hard time getting in and out of the tub. This was the answer for both of us. Now she has something to grab onto getting in and out of the tub and my wife and I no longer have to share our shower with her when she comes. Easy to install but make sure someone strong does it … Should read a 4.5 star review. Easy to install but make sure someone strong does it so it will be securely attached to the tub. Works fine but is very bulky, hence not a 5-star review but to be fair I’m not sure if it could be made any more streamlined since it is a support device. It does work very well to help get in and out of the tub, we have a standard tub that can be very difficult to step into for someone with a bad back, knees, legs, etc. Doesn’t catch on the shower curtain or liner…

Great and Sturdy bathtub accessory I was hesitant to buy this online, but the reviews were great and the measurements/specs provided helped me to feel certain it would fit my old bathtub and it does. It is very well made and very sturdy for balancing needs getting in and out of the tub.
