Nice quality sturdy chair This is a very well made chair that we bought for my mother who had a stroke recently and cannot walk. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because my mom says this is a very uncomfortable chair. Both my brother and I have sat in this chair (clothed), and we think it is perfectly comfortable. But here is the difference between our experience and hers: my mom is only 5’3″, and her feet can just barely touch the floor flat-footed, and since she doesn’t have solid footing, the seat…

Duro-Med Shower Transport Chair, White We bought this for my dad when he was on hospice and did not have strength enough to walk to the shower. We wheeled his wheelchair into the bathroom which was large and this went into a walk-in shower about 6’x6′ so we locked the wheels, transferred him, and wheeled him into the shower area. It was easy to wash all the important areas of his body with this style.Eventually the wheels get a little rust around where they connect to the legs of the chair, but the chair remains pristine.

VERY HARD to put together! I like the product fine, and will use it for my elderly mother tomorrow. It was packaged well, all the parts were present, and the instructions were clear. HOWEVER – some of the screw holes were not well aligned and it was a bear to put together as a result. Very careless of the manufacturer, and it made what should have been a 15 minute job a full HOUR of pushing, pulling, and hammering the screws to get them in their respective holes. And yes, I had all the parts in the right places…
