it was because my niece loved minnie. Unfortunately When we purchased this, it was because my niece loved minnie. Unfortunately, we got to see 1st hand how safe the car seat was. Fortunately, it did its job. We were hit head on by an individual who was high on pills and heroin. The seat was strapped with the seat belt, and tethered to the back of the back seat and she had her 5 point harness on. Poor design I bought this for my almost 2yr old. It is very poorly designed – there is absolutely ZERO cushion. It is literally the very thin (although cute) fabric and then the hard plastic seat underneath. It was also very uncomfortable for my daughter as the seat and back are angled so that it makes a V shape instead of an L. I went to Babies R Us and bought the EvenFlo Maestro seat that will actually grow with my daughter and is much more comfortable as it has built in cushion. Put your money into…
