Great sandbox. It’s huge and easy to put together. Pros:- Really nice cedar planks, it smells and looks really nice. Not sure how effective it is but I know cedar repels certain pests so that could be a plus as well- Easy to put together (using two people makes it a breeze, but it’s doable with one)- Huge play area with planks to sit on top of sides- Comes with its own soft cover and bottom (however they are not super effective, see below)- We fit 900 lbs of sand in it, could easily fit moreCons:-…
Big Beautiful Sandbox! This sandbox is HUGE. I had 5 kids playing in it comfortably with room to spare. It’s a quality frame and looks great. It is filled with 800lbs of sand and could hold more than that. My only issue is it doesn’t have a solid bottom. The bottom is like a tarp and sand seeps out the bottom of the sandbox. Maybe if I took a staple gun and stapled the sides of the tarp up on the walls that would help. Regardless, great purchase. My kids love it!!!
Beware! Check all wood pieces for splits before you assemble! Length:: 0:58 Mins If I could use no stars I would. Package arrived slightly open, but otherwise in good condition. The wooden pieces inside, however, were a different story. 11 separate pieces of wood (10 of 12 of the main supportive pieces) were partially split or completely broken, rendering the entire sandbox unusable. Could I use some wood glue and hope for the best? I could, but I donât trust that option considering how many pieces are affected! Amazon is…
