HOW TO USE BAGS
Use these bags for food waste only. (No chemicals, soaps, dish washing fluids, etc) Can use for wood trimmings, leaves, etc in the garden (avoid pesticide sprayed materials)> Do not put liquids in the bag Always allow food waste to cool before putting in bags Store bags in cool and dry place. Sun and water decompose the bags The bags are best fit for 1-3 days of food waste collection. If you are disposing soggy foods, its advised to put a few layers of newspaper around the bottom of the bag. The bags at 1mil thickness are the strongest in its class of 13gallon bags, but they decompose with exposure to heat, water and moisture, like they are meant to. Most bags decompose completely in 45-90 days.

Nice and thick So far so good. They seem very sturdy. Listen to the instructions and don’t add liquids. If there is ever a doubt, double bag. I feel much better to not add to the plastic in the world.
Better Than Expected I really like these bags better than I thought I would. I honestly didn’t have that high of hopes for them. I’ve been trying to reduce our families plastic use. We’re a family of 6 and I can’t stand paper bags as garbage holders. These bags are good alternative. I read if the bags became wet they would break down. I have never had this happen. I do know the bags cannot be overfilled. Getting them out of the can is not good if overfilled. The bags stretch and rip easily. My husband…
A tad smaller than expected, but thats ok. These are a tad smaller than expected but still very well made. The slip off the top of the our Simply Human trash bin a bit too easily. The description said that they are big enough since they a bigger gallon wise compared to the can liners I would get from the Simply Human brand, but I’m not saying they don’t get the job done, cause they do. Yeah they lip off the top of the trash bin, but hey, first world problems. I would recommend this product, just buy a bit bigger next time.
