The first line of defense for cloth diapering parents everywhere! Diaper Dawgs Finger Guards are flexible, slip-on silicone barriers that guard parents’ fingers against pee & poo during a typical cloth diaper cleaning routine: separating soakers and inserts from cloth diaper covers or pocket diapers, holding a dirty cloth diaper while spraying, or general sorting through a dirty wet bag. Most cloth diaper manufacturers require that the insert/soaker is separated from the cloth diaper shell prior to laundering – that means handling cold and dirty inserts soaked in pee and poop. This sanitation tool helps squeamish spouses, in-laws, or caregivers new to cloth diapering touch less of that mess. These playful pooches make cloth diapering easier and more enjoyable! Choose between complementary blue/green or purple/pink colors to match baby’s cloth diaper stash. Pick the perfect baby shower gift companions for a cloth diapering parent – Attaboy! Clean crap in a snap with Diaper Dawgs. Wash with antibacterial soap and warm water. May be stacked and stored upright on any level surface or hung.
My baby is currently only breast fed but these bad boys help tremendously when unstuffing diapers As soon as I saw these on a blog I had to have them! That would make them more comfortable rather than using just 2 or 3 fingers to “pinch” the diapers. But they work, they’re cute, and they’re easy to clean! I do wash them after every use, but it’s easier to wash these than to wash my hands after getting them dirty with poo!
Cute but completely unnecessary They work well enough and do what they are supposed to but once the diaper change, the question remains “what do you do with the dirty dawgs?” Do you store them as is somewhere to reuse or wash them after each use? Personally, I’m going to wash my hands after changing a diaper anyway so I don’t see where these are very practical; washing them just adds an additional step to the diaper changing process. I ended up giving them to my son to use as bath toys (after sanitizing them, of…
