The citrus version is far better if you like the smell I bought this air freshener since it was geared towards pet odors as we are in the process of showing and selling our home. I really did not notice that it did any noticeable improvement on ‘absorbing’ any odors. I clean the litter box 1-2x daily (especially right now) but didn’t notice any difference between the room with this air freshener in it, and the other room with no air freshener and another litter box. Solid but not quite These were really nice pet odor units. The smell wasn’t to citrus and did not lean toward citronella. The reason for the 4 star rating is that these are really designed for smaller spaces. I tried to tuck these in bedrooms and they’re not quite strong enough for that. These would be best used next to a litter box or a dog crate.
Does NOT last a month, at all. I haven’t noticed this making a difference at ALL. I purchased it to place near the litter box for our two-cats as I’m extremely sensitive to smells. For maybe the first week this seemed to do it’s job, but then it went right back to normal. We were, of course, cleaning the litter box out regularly during this time, just like we did before. This said it was supposed to last for a month, it definitely didn’t for us!
